An estimated 200 students and parents filled the little theatre on Wednesday, Oct. 31 for the annual Halloween film festival, produced by the students in Video Productions.
Senior Juliana Ayala’s script was chosen as one of the seven films to be produced. Ayala wrote several different scripts before choosing which one she wanted to produce. After she chose her best one she wrote the script in a professional format with the camera angles, dialogue and settings.
“It’s rewarding [to get your script chosen] because people usually don’t see [our films],” Ayala said. “It’s only the Halloween and April fool’s film fests that people get to view them.”
One of the biggest struggles for Ayala was working with her recording team and finding a time when everyone could film. Despite the difficulties, Ayala was pleased with her production.
“I like when people applaud or laugh at my film,” Ayala said.
