Students commence production of paintings, drawings and pottery pieces
Adjusting the composition for his still-life during Drawing on Wednesday, April 28, freshman Jack Jaworski prepares to use charcoal and a blending stump to make his drawing of staged spheres and cans look three-dimensional. “The most challenging part of the project was the charcoal because it was hard to match the right values and to get rid of all the directional marks,” Jaworski said. “It is helping me to develop value more and to make my drawings more realistic. Up until now, they have all been cartoony, so now my drawings are able to look like an actual photograph.”
