Blog: Black Friday rules

There’s not a more inappropriate time to search for bargains at ungodly hours than the day after we celebrate our appreciation for the things we already have. While I don’t necessarily approve of the greed associated with Black Friday, I’d be lying if I said I’ve never participated myself. With that being said, I have collected a few sentiments in regards to the proper way to prepare for Black Friday.

The way you look should be your last priority. Skip the makeup, skip straightening your hair and get out the door as soon as possible. The longer you take to get ready, the longer the lines will get. This is the one and only time of year you can go out in public looking as ratchet as you please without fear of judgment. Take advantage of it. Throw on your sweats, stick your hair up in a messy bun and leave the house confidently with the knowledge that everyone around you will be also looking equally, if not more unkempt.

So this Thursday, after overeating yourself into a food coma, make sure to get to bed early so you can be ready to face Black Friday. Happy Black Friday shopping ladies.
