Head bowling coach Rick Pollard said that beating the girls record that was set two years ago with a team of good bowlers was rewarding.
“The girls team was really loaded [two years ago]and then we had a drop off last year and so its good to get back to that level. The girls bowled really well,” Pollard said.
Clark said her first meet bowling at the varsity level was not much different than junior varsity.
“It was just a different level,” Clark said. “Your score actually counted towards something more than just going there and bowling it counted towards our team score.”
Pollard said the win was exciting and important for the team.
“The team really gelled well as a whole so i was pretty excited,” Pollard said. “Our girls team has not won in over a year, we had finished second a bunch but not a win so winning that meet was awesome.”
