The girls golf team won against Piper at Dub’s Dread Golf course on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Senior Holly Webb said the team was pleased with its results.

“We did a great job taking care of what we needed to and competed well even on a difficult course,” Webb said.

According to head coach Jack Johnson, the team worked hard to do better than it did at the previous meet.

“They didn’t do as well on the previous meet because it was a tougher course,” Johnson said. “We tell the girls that they play against the course not the opponent, so I think they implemented that well into their strategy and did well because of it.”
