Last year’s record: second at regionals

First game: against Olathe North at home on Tuesday, March 29

Coach’s perspective:

“My goal as a coach is to do as well or better than last year. As far as a team, we always choose our first goal to be having a winning record, the second goal is to win league and the third goal after that is to go as far as possible in the postseason.” — head coach Arlan Vomhof

Returning player’s perspective:

“[The team has] such a great relationship this year. Everyone loves each other and it’s just so much fun. In years past, we haven’t had the best team chemistry, so that’s one of our main goals this year. We all want to love each other. Once we do that — which we are — we’re going to be successful and hopefully go to state.” —senior Emma Wetzel

New player’s perspective:

“I’m really excited for the state trip. I’m also excited to start playing with these girls since it’s my first year on varsity, and just getting connections, winning games and understanding each others’ play and how we play and being able to focus on that.” —sophomore Gracie Eckardt
