Have you seen Dory?

As a child at heart, I’m all for watching a Disney movie. Even though I’m in high school, nothing can top a Disney classic.

“Finding Dory” has become a new Disney movie on my list. The sequel to “Finding Nemo” follows the adventure to find Dory. The movie starts off with Dory as a young little fish. She gets caught in the undertow and gets washed away from her parents. She keeps trying to find them for years upon years until she stumbles upon Marlin and helps him find Nemo. She uses clues from her broken memories of her childhood to find her parents. She ends up in a facility for sick fish and Marlin and Nemo try to find her.

There are recurring characters from the first movie to the second: Mr. Ray and Crush and new ones: Bailey, Hank and the infamous Gerald the sea lion. Some of the new characters play a huge role in Dory finding her parents.

“Finding Dory” is such a great family movie, especially if you have little siblings around the house. It’s a movie full of love, courage and having confidence in oneself. One thing I’ll always appreciate about Disney movies are the lessons they hide in the movies.

Disney movies will always have a special place in my heart, regardless of how old I get. “Finding Dory” was a great movie, but no movie could top “Finding Nemo” in my book. If you’re looking for a night in, I’d suggest checking out “Finding Dory.”

See you next time!
