Those who attended the Homecoming football game experienced what may have been the largest crowd at Mill Valley High School.
There weren’t enough seats for all of the people who attended. The amount of cash raised at the gate was almost 30 percent larger than the previous largest. This does not include students who use their passes to enter the game.
Activities director Matt Fedde was amazed at the attendance.
“It is always a great thing to see people come out and support any Mill Valley activity or group,” Fedde said. “I would much rather [not having enough seats] be an issue than having empty stands. I cannot thank the crowd (students, parents, fans, etc.) enough for the support they gave to Mill Valley Friday night.”
Issues like not having enough seats have led to disscussions of expanding the football stadium.
“It’s completely obvious that there were not enough seats [for everyone],” Fedde said. “We have talked in general terms about expanding the stands, what it would take, but [the idea] is still in its infancy.”
