Why did you decide to join yearbook?

Because I thought it would be fun and I enjoy writing… I didn’t really have any sports that I was involved in, so this is kind of my sport.

What’s your favorite part about being on yearbook?

The rewarding feeling you get when you finish a story. [Also,] the people on staff are a lot of fun.

Was joining yearbook like you thought it would be?

I didn’t really having any expectations going into it…I knew it was going to be hard, but I didn’t know how hard. I guess it was a lot harder than I thought it would be, but its worth it.

What’s the worst part about being on yearbook?

The stress, it’s really stressful, but, like I said, its worth it.

Describe work nights.

They’re really hot and stressful. There’s people running around everywhere, and there’s a lot of loud music…and my computer’s internet doesn’t work, so stressful and really hot, but its fun.

What are some stories you’ve worked on this year?

I did girls’ golf, right now I’m working on NHS, and I did a story about Starbucks, which was really a lot of fun and I’ve done some people profiles.

How do you feel about interviews?

I enjoy them, its fun meeting new people and interviewing people that I’ve never met before because you meet a lot of interesting people that you otherwise wouldn’t have met.
