Let’s face it; no one cares about your weekend plans. There’s no need to share via Twitter, Facebook or in person every detail of what illegal activities you plan to partake in during the upcoming weekend. Keep it to yourself.
Though I, personally, am completely against all of these illegal activities that many teens participate in on Friday nights, I know they’re still going to happen regardless of my opinion. But isn’t one of the main goals of these activities being able to do it and get away with it without getting caught? If so, why are you spreading the word of what’s going to happen? If you need to do that kind of stuff to be happy, I’m not stopping you, but there’s no need to tell me every detail of how “totally trashed” you were.
Another factor in this problem is that I try to avoid hanging out with people who participate in these activities so chances are, if you’re talking about it to me, we probably aren’t very good friends. By putting me in the situation where I have to hear all about you’re experiences is a really uncomfortable situation. That’s much more than I need to know about you and your personal life. Nor do I want to know about it. Keep it classy and remember pugs, not drugs.
