With opening day on Monday, Jan. 28, the Catty Shack is now open to all students before and after school across from the commons. The Catty Shack sells a variety of different products ranging from school supplies to spirit wear.

To kick off the grand opening, senior Kendall Short, as well as the other people in business and technology teacher Dianna Heffernon’s Marketing Communications class sold donuts throughout the day.

“On Monday we sold all 400 of our donuts,” Short said. “We made a $75 profit from it.”

In addition to sales throughout the day, the Catty Shack members are also planning on selling products on other days during the week to celebrate the opening.

“This Friday, after the pep assembly, we are going to be selling pizza for $1.50 to bring the grand opening week to an end,” Short said.
