Q&A with sophomore Grace McLeod
A conversation with sophomore Grace McLeod on her support for a traditional Thanksgiving
What’s your favorite Thanksgiving food?
I would say ham because it tastes really good and brings back good memories from past Thanksgivings
What’s your favorite part of Thanksgiving?
My family always ends up having a kickball tournament and playing games, [which] is really fun. I also love the food.
What started the kickball tradition?
I live really close to Clear Creek Elementary and there’s this really small gravel baseball diamond over there, so one year we were looking for something to do and we ended up playing kickball.
What about tradition, when it comes to Thanksgiving, is important to you?
I have a really big family, so it’s pretty rare that all of us are together, so the tradition of Thanksgiving is nice because it gives us a reason to all be together.
What do you think is the most important part of Thanksgiving?
The most important part of Thanksgiving is spending time with family and of course the food.
