Softball team falls to Basehor-Linwood
The Jaguars played the Bobcats in a double header and lost both games
The softball team challenged Basehor-Linwood in a double header on Thursday, April 10. They fell to the Bobcats 3-8 in their first game and 10-12 in the second game.
Senior Jordan Blair thought they worked well as a team.
“We fought hard; Basehor is a good team,” Blair said. “Now we know what we have to work on for our next games.”
Junior Kaitlin Parker agrees.
“A few girls definitely stepped up and took on leadership roles,” Parker said.
Senior Abby Ford feels there is room for improvement before their next game.
“We need to improve on getting the critical outs and not letting one error lead to another,” Ford said.
Parker also hopes to make improvements before next game.
“We need to improve our defense, unforced errors and communication,” Parker said. “We will be ready for our next game.”
