Sophomore Soledad Stevanov creates Craft Club
Math teacher Kevin Mosher sponsors former student’s club
September 7, 2019
Sophomore Soledad Stevanov wants to help students get involved with her new club, Craft Club. The club will meet on Tuesdays after school.
Stevanov was in many clubs last year and liked the atmosphere, so when Stevanov stumbled upon the idea of Craft Club she ran with it.
“Craft Club will be a place for people who just want to relax and have fun,” Soledad said.
Math teacher Kevin Mosher decided to sponsor the club because a former student, Stevanov, asked him.
“That’s the kind of person that I am,” Mosher said.
Mosher loves helping any students, especially former ones. He is also looking forward to getting out of his comfort zone with the new club and learning something.
She is most excited to learn about crafts herself. She enjoys crafting with other people. Without other people, she believes it loses some of it’s magic.
She hopes to encourage other students like her to join to enjoy some company and have a good time making crafts.
Craft Club will be a place where people can come after school, have some fun, eat some snacks, maybe learn something about crafts, and just relax.
Since the club meets once a month most meeting will have a theme based off the month.
Soledad wants people to be able to come, relax, hang out, make friends and just enjoy their time. She is excited to be part of the good atmosphere at Mill valley.
If you want to have a fun time crafting and are looking for something to do after school on Tuesdays, check out the new and coming Craft Club.
