Junior Cameron Summers and sophomore Alana Flinnwon a free Homecoming ticket for participating in tie-dye day on Tuesday, Oct. 4.
“I decided to wear tie-dye to show school spirit, plus I really like tie-dye,” Summers said.
Summers feels strongly about taking part in spirit days.
“Tie-dye can express personality about someone, I like feeling different on spirit days,” Summers said.
Flinn has been collecting various tie-dyed items for a long time.
“I get a lot of my tie-dye stuff from New York from my family and made a big collection,” Flinn said.
Flinn decided to wear as many tie-dye items as possible, including shirt, shorts and socks.
“I was thinking about changing shorts, but it wouldn’t be the full tie-dye potential [if I didn’t have them on],” Flinn said.
