Tanner Smith, JagWire editor-in-chief

This is senior Tanner Smith’s third year on the JagWire staff. He is undertaking the position of JagWire editor-in-chief. When he is not reporting the news, Tanner can be found acting as the president of Youth for Refugees and taking way too many AP classes. Additionally, Tanner enjoys sleeping, watching Netflix and listening to music.

Before releasing his Wright Stuff aircraft for his first official run, sophomore Patrick Mack adjusts the propellers of his build. Wright Stuff is a build event where a team of up to two aims to build the lightest, rubber band-powered propeller airplane that can stay in flight for the longest time. Mack and his partner, junior Andrew Gawith, placed fourth overall at the regionals meet held at Johnson County Community College Saturday, Feb. 29.
