The Jaguar volleyball team was recently ranked in the top 10 of statewide 5A schools by the Kansas Volleyball Association.
Sponsored by the Kansas Volleyball Association, head volleyball coaches voted to put the team in the top 10 for their second time, the last being in 2007 when the team was ranked fifth.
According to head volleyball coach Kim Service, the team lost eight seniors and had to work hard to become a better team this season.
“This team works really hard and comes to practice ready to practice and accomplish goals,” Service said. “It’s an exciting thing for our program to be ranked.”
The team is off to a 13-6 start.
