After winning their second straight state volleyball title Saturday, Nov. 2, the team poses with the trophy.

For the second straight season, the volleyball won the 6A state volleyball title Saturday, Nov. 2 at Tony’s Pizza Event Center in Salina. Led by senior Saida Jacobs, junior Ella Florez and sophomore Riley Riggs, the team defeated Blue Valley North (2-0), Garden City (2-0) and Olathe West (2-0 in pool play to advance to the final four. In the semi-finals, the girls beat Manhattan (2-0) to advance to the final, where they beat Blue Valley West (2-1).
