Week nine: The musical comes to a close

Show week has arrived.  So far the cast has performed two sold out shows so far, both being tremendously successful.  Plenty of people have heard great things from both casts.  Tonight, Thursday, Nov. 10, the opening cast will perform again.  Some tickets may still be available at the door.  Arrive early if you want a chance to get tickets.  Some orders get misplaced or cancelled and the seats are filled at the door if they are not taken by a certain time.  We look forward to seeing you tonight and Saturday, Nov. 12.

Seniors have taken hold of responsibility this week and have told the underclassmen how rewarding being in the musical can actually be.  It can get very emotional during show week, especially for the seniors.

“This is my last musical ever,” senior Brayton Young said.  “It’s sad when you think about it, but it’s true.  I’m glad I was able to enjoy doing this every year with such nice people.”

We thank everyone who has seen the show so far and appreciate the nice things you’ve said.  We still have two shows to go, the fun is not over yet.  We hope to have two more shows that are just as successful as the first two.  Thanks for your support and thank you for reading the Oz blog.  Look for a new blog next year regarding the spring play.  Until then, we hope you have a great holiday season.
