“‘What Was I Made For?’ should win song of the year because it speaks to so many girls. The first time I heard that song was in theaters while watching Barbie and it made me and everyone else in that room start crying because of its message. This is Junior Evan LeRoy’s second year on the JagWire staff. Outside of journalism Evan is an assistant producer in Video Productions and a performer in Repertory Theatre. This is junior Madelyn Mulryan’s second year on the JagWire staff. This year Madelyn is one of the JagWire’s editor-in-chiefs. She specializes in writing, but also enjoys designing and taking photos. When Madelyn isn’t working on the newspaper, she’s hanging out with her friends, reading and listening to music. Madelyn is involved with Youth for Refugees, Society of Women’s Engineering, Kansas Association for Youth and Model UN.
